The breast has been one of the most worshipped and beloved symbols of sexuality and femininity for as long as modern man has walked the face of the earth, so it is no surprise that many women and their partners are concerned about a possible loss of sensitivity once breast augmentation surgery has taken place. We all know what a central roll the breast plays in most of our intimate lives and the idea of a surgery that is meant to enhance that role destroying it instead is simply too terrible to imagine. Here are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to sensitivity, your breast augmentation risks.

First, it is very important to let yourself heal completely before evaluating if you have lost, or even gained in some cases, sensitivity. You may be able to be on your feet and back to work within a week of having surgery but you can’t really gauge how your breasts are going to feel until you are completely healed and that often takes up to six weeks. If you have experienced breast augmentation complications, you may need additional surgeries to fix the problem which would delay your healing even farther.

Once you have fully healed, you can then judge how your breasts feel. If you feel that a travesty has been committed and you have lost a good portion of your sensitivity or if you feel that your surgery was done in error or that you are not pleased with the softness of your implants, sit down with your surgeon first and see if the problem can be fixed. All too often in our society, many people jump and run to the lawyer’s office when an amicable settlement could be had between patient and doctor. Remember, a plastic surgeon is only as good as his or her reputation. In most cases, your surgeon is going to be more than willing to work with you to correct any problems you may have.

Breast augmentation problems related to sensitivity can be made worse by things like infections or other problems that delay healing. Your doctor will also tell you if there were any problems related to nerves having to be cut or milk ducts that were damaged during surgery. These things seldom happen, but you have the right to know if they do.

You can learn more about how surgical breast enlargement may change your sensitivity when you talk to your general practitioner and your OB/GYN as well as your plastic surgeon. You can also consider the wide array of non surgical options that are available in the form of all natural pills, creams and gums. An informed choice when it comes to modifying your body is a wise one.

One of the great things about the Internet is that you never have to go through any crisis alone. No matter what situation you may find yourself in from a broken heart to a broken arm, there are a multitude of online support groups available that can help you through anything. If you have recently experienced breast augmentation problems, don’t fear, there are thousands of women just like you that have survived and persevered through the exact same set of circumstances that you find yourself in now. Here are just a few of the top online resources available to you at this time.

If you Google “breast augmentation complications websites” you will find thousands of sites set up by women from all around the world that have had less than ideal surgeries done. Some of these women have fought back in court and gotten a degree of retribution, while others have simply gone on to other doctors and had reconstructive work done to hide the initial mistakes. The one thing that all of these women have in common is a desire to never give up and to not let a bad experience ruin their lives. The sheer amount of inspiration found on these sites is enough to keep anyone going, no matter how devastating your battle might be.

If you desire more of an interactive environment, there are a multitude of chat rooms all over the Internet dedicated to survivors of botched breast augmentations. These chat rooms can provide real time feedback on your current battles, your legal wrangling and any other issues you may be having in regards to your augmentation. These rooms are also a great place to learn about breast augmentation risks if you are considering surgery. Many people are surprised to find that while the women here hold the doctor responsible for the surgical mistakes that happened, they also take a good deal of the responsibility since many knew of the risks before they begun.

In addition to chat rooms and websites, there are a number of good message boards out there dedicated to breast augmentation surgery. You can register in seconds and begin your own thread about your particular circumstance and also comment on other threads that people have made. A message board allows you to have multiple conversations at once and gives you the chance to interact with women from all over the world in an instant.

There can be little doubt that more and more women will be trying out breast enlargement surgery in the years to come and it is important that you or anyone who has had a less than stellar experience share their story with the world so that those that might be wavering on their decision can have as much information as possible.

No matter how much you may want a particular cosmetic procedure to be done, you should never enter into any kind of surgery with rose coloured glasses on. Every kind of surgery carries risks, even if you are having an ingrown toenail taken care of. Breast augmentation surgery is far more complicated than having your foot looked after and while it may turn out to be what’s best for your particular needs, you should be aware of the following three risks that accompany every breast augmentation procedure done in the United States today.

First, no matter how competent your surgeon is, there is always the chance for breast enlargement disappointment. Your doctor may do the best possible job he or she could do and you may wake up after the surgery and realize that this was all a big mistake. Regret is perfectly natural and judging by the number of women who have their implants removed within a few months of getting them put in, it is fairly common, as well. Many surgeons will give you a discount to get your implants removed sooner rather than later but you still have to go through your recovery process for a second time, which can be very trying.

Perhaps the best documented of all breast augmentation risks is that of a botched surgery. A botched augmentation can take many forms. You can have the wrong kind of implants put in, they can be put in the wrong place which leads to a much harder, unnatural looking breast, you can have excess scarring or you can simply have the whole process butchered by a surgeon who likely shouldn’t be practicing medicine. The law system is set up so that patients can get their money back and then some, but you may never regain your peace of mind.

Maybe the most underreported of all breast augmentation complications have to do with infections. You can go from a perfectly normal recovery process to hanging on to your life by a thread thanks to today’s super bugs that are resistant to common antibiotics. If at all possible, get out of the hospital as soon as your surgery is over and recover at home. This puts you in an environment that is far less likely to give you an infection that you can’t defeat.

If these breast augmentation problems sound like more than what you want to deal with, there are all natural alternatives currently in use. You can choose from pills, gums, creams and other solutions that can increase your bust size over a period of six months or longer. Surgery is still the best choice for some, but for others, there are alternatives available.

When most of us think of regret, we associate it with the purchase of a car that ended up being a lemon or a home that was more trouble than it was worth, but what happens when your regret centers around the cosmetic surgery you have received? There are many different breast augmentation risks that you should consider before you go through with the surgery, but one area that many women don’t think about is simply not liking the final product. Even when the surgery and the recovery go as planned; it isn’t a guarantee that the final result will be something you like. You could end up with breasts that are too large or too small or they could simply feel too fake for you and your partner. Here are a few things you can do if you end up with a breast augmentation job you don’t like.

It is unknown what percentage of women end up with breast enlargement surgery that they feel is subpar, but based on the number of women who end up getting their implants removed within a year, it is a fairly large percentage. Breast augmentation problems can take almost any form. You could end up with implants that are too hard or are slightly misplaced inside the breast. These problems often leave the patient with a slightly misshapen breast or one that feels like there is a rock buried underneath the breast. This “lumpy” breast is a nightmare that can sometimes be corrected by further surgery and the insertion of new, softer implants, but many women simply have the implant removed for good and then seek legal representation against the surgeon who conducted the surgery in the first place.

If you have ended up with breasts that are too small, it is much easier to upgrade to a larger implant than it is to go down. Of course, you will have to go through the surgical process again and the recovery process again and the impact financially may be more than some people can take. Breast augmentation complications like infections or broken implants can also lead to regret. If an infection isn’t caught in time you may have to have part of your breast removed permanently, which is why hospitals are so watchful of your temperature and other vital signs immediately after coming out of surgery.

There are other paths to breast enlargement out there for those that wish to pursue them. A whole line of all natural, herbal breast enhancement products are now available and they only cost a fraction of what surgery does. Talk to your doctor or health professional about other non surgical options to breast enhancement if you want to skip the regret process altogether and get right to the part where you love your body.

If you are of sound mind and sound, albeit imperfect, body, you have likely put a lot of thought into your decision to get breast augmentation surgery. Even the most flippant personality understands the inherent risks involved in undergoing surgery and although the majority of plastic surgeries end up satisfactorily, some don’t, and a person would be foolish to not take that into account. Here are a few general tips you can follow to help yourself prepare for the eventuality that you may have breast augmentation complications that will leave you disappointed in the final outcome.

First, it is up to you to ensure that the doctor you have chosen is competent and properly licensed. You would be surprised how many people only consider price when choosing a plastic surgeon and although the old mantra that you get what you pay for does ring true, you also need to make sure you basic health isn’t at risk just because you want a breast enlargement. The Internet is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to check out their plastic surgeon in advance. If someone out there has butchered someone else, chances are, there is evidence of it online.

Next, once you have finally decided on a doctor to go with, come armed with a pile of questions. You are putting your body, your looks and your health on the line with this doctor, if he or she becomes annoyed or bothered by the fact that you are asking so many questions, you should take that as a giant red warning flag that this isn’t a person you can trust. He or she is essentially competing for your business and it is up to them to prove to you that they deserve your money and your trust. Make them earn it. This question and answer period can significantly reduce your breast augmentation risks.

You can further reduce your chances of breast augmentation problems by following the instructions your surgeon gives you once your surgery is complete. You will notice that your time at the hospital once your surgery is over is fairly short, which means that you and your family are in charge of much of your rehab. Do everything you can to stay germ free and keep a close eye on your incisions to reduce the chance of infection. No one knows your body better than you, so make sure you tell someone if you begin to notice problems.

If you would like to reduce the chances of being disappointed from surgery even farther, you can instead try non surgical methods to enhance your bust. There are currently several proven methods on the market that warrant exploration by anyone hesitant about going under the knife.

The desire to “look pretty” in today’s culture is overwhelming and it causes many of us to engage in unhealthy behaviours that may help us to look good now but can cause us harm down the road. Every year, thousands of women rush into breast augmentation surgery without really thinking about how it might affect their health later on. We’ve all heard about the problems that broken silicone implants can cause, but what about other health issues related to breast augmentation problems? Let’s take a look.

First, many women don’t realize that their breast implants aren’t going to last forever. Even the less harmful saline implants will need to be replaced sooner rather than later, and if they aren’t, many health issues can result, such as toxic shock and a hardening of the breast that many women feel is unacceptable. Not only will your implants have to be removed, this extra surgery will also result in extra recovery time, which in turn means an increased chance of infection or other post surgical breast augmentation complications. Make sure you understand just how many surgeries you are getting yourself into before you proceed.

A surprising number of women end up hating their implants for one reason or another almost as soon as they get them. It could be because of the new shape of the breast or it could be because the breast has lost too much of its natural softness. A patient may have simply had second thoughts when it comes to the breast augmentation risks that are present or it could be something as simple as the implants not being large enough or possibly being too large. As mentioned above, if you don’t like your implants, you are increasing your risk of post surgical infections and permanent damage to the breast since additional surgeries will be required.

Although recent studies have shown that most women do not have their breastfeeding altered by implants, some women do, and in most cases, it is because of surgical error, not because of the implants themselves. Other women have reported that implants kept them from being able to accurately check their breast for possible cancerous lumps, although a 2000 study by the National Cancer Institute showed no known link between implants and an increase in cancer risk. There are ways, however, to undergo a breast enlargement process without relying on surgery or implants.

There are a whole host of all natural, herbal based products available to women everywhere that can help enhance your bust line for less than 10 percent of what you would pay for surgery. Many women prefer the gums, pills or creams to surgery because of the cost savings and the fact that the supplements are 100 percent natural.

Despite all of the hype to the contrary, the majority of surgeries (both plastic and otherwise) go off without a hitch and everyone involved is at least somewhat pleased with the result, but a growing number of people are falling victim to what are known as super bugs. These bacteria haunt the halls of today’s modern hospitals just waiting for a warm, moist host to crawl into. You have probably heard of a staph infection but staph is only one of the many different kinds of infections just waiting to turn your breast augmentation into a nightmare. Here are a few signs you should keep in mind that could signal that you are having breast augmentation complications.

It is quite difficult to tell after the first day if you are okay or if there is something wrong because the pain associated with normal augmentation recovery is so high that an increased level of pain due to an infection can’t really be known or felt. After four or five days, however, the body has healed considerably and a sharp increase in pain that often comes with an infection can easily be noticed. An increase in pain is your body’s way of telling you that you have breast augmentation problems that need to be dealt with right away.

Oddly enough, the more time you spend in the hospital after your surgery, the more breast augmentation risks you are taking. Although it isn’t impossible to pick up a serious infection at home, many of today’s super bugs are found almost exclusively in hospitals, so recovering at home is probably the best idea, however, once at home, you need to keep a close eye on your temperature. Often times, the body will tell you that something is wrong if you begin to run a fever after surgery. Your body will naturally increase its temperature to create an environment that is less hospitable to germs and bacteria, but too high a fever can cause brain damage and other abnormalities. If you have been recovering for more than 24 hours and you notice that you are running a fever, contact a hospital right away.

Finally, there will be a good amount of swelling, puffiness and discoloration in and around your chest. This area will also be quite tender to the touch, but if you should happen to notice an increase in tenderness over a period of days instead of a reduction, you may want to check to see if the other two symptoms named here are present, as well. If so, contact your surgeon right away. Breast enlargement surgery can still be a wonderful way to improve your appearance, but you have to know the warning signs that something is wrong.

At its heart, cosmetic surgery is done to help the appearance of a particular part of your body. In most cases, cosmetic surgery is voluntary. A person wishes that a part of their body looked a different way and so they decide to have work done. In other cases, cosmetic surgery is done to restore a part of the body that was damaged due to trauma or disease. While most of us would be concerned about the functionality of a body part due to a problem encountered during plastic surgery, the appearance of that body part would be a primary concern, as well. If you have adequately accessed the breast augmentation risks out there, you know that a botched surgery or an infection after your surgery is completed can affect your appearance, possibly for good. Here are a few important things to keep in mind when it comes to breast augmentation problems and the appearance of your body.

One of the leading reasons why breast augmentation surgery is botched is because it is being performed by someone who has no business holding a scalpel in the first place. A good plastic surgeon will charge you at least $10,000 to get the work done you want, but many people are desperate for cheaper alternatives and that means that a growing number of women subject themselves to the work of an under qualified doctor. Breast augmentation complications can change the appearance of your breasts to the point where you may not even recognize them, but there is help out there. There are some other plastic surgeons who do nothing but reconstructive work to help repair the mutilations performed by other doctors. Even if you can’t afford to go to one of these doctors, you may be able to get financing that can help restore your original looks.

Of course, you can always take the doctor who performed the original surgery to court, but chances are, if he or she has botched your surgery, he has botched others and is likely getting sued by several other patients, as well. This may mean that your doctor goes to jail and you are out of luck when it comes to financial compensation. This is why it is so important to research your doctor to see if the price they are charging for breast enlargement is worth the money or not.

If you want to skip over the inherent risk that comes with breast augmentation surgery but you still want to increase your bust, there are all natural alternatives. Currently, there are all natural pills, gums and creams on the market that, over the course of a few months, can increase your bust size and many of the top products come with a money back guarantee.

One of the biggest concerns for any women who are considering breast augmentation surgery is the impact the surgery will have on them later in life, particularly when it comes to nursing. When you sit down for your initial consultation with your doctor, he or she will be able to tell you how they will have to cut your breast open to give you your implants. It is this cutting that will determine what tissues of your breast will be affected by your implants. In most cases, women do not have any trouble nursing after getting implants, but like with any situation, there are exceptions.

While every woman is different, studies have shown that women who get their implants put in underneath the muscle of the breast have little to no trouble breastfeeding. However, some women require that an implant be put in through the top half of the breast. In this case, milk ducts have a greater chance of being cut and that can result in a loss of milk to the nipple. Your doctor should talk to you in great detail about how your surgery may affect your ability to nurse. If they don’t ask, since it is often a major concern for most women.

One of the breast augmentation problems that can cause an interruption in milk delivery is where in the breast the implant is sitting. Sometimes, if the implants are directly underneath the areola, the milk ducts can be pressed upon, which can trap the flow of the milk from the duct to the nipple. This can sometimes lead to infection if the milk can not be expelled from the body over a certain period of time. Many women don’t take this particular factor into account when they are going over their breast augmentation risks, but it can happen depending on the body structure you have.

Other breast augmentation complications such as an infection can damage nerves and milk ducts in the breast to the point where they will not be able to heal normally. This is yet another reason why it is so important to keep the area around where the surgery took place clean and germ free in the days after your procedure has been done. If you plan on breastfeeding later on in life, it is important to tell your doctor on your very first visit so they can tell you how your particular implants will affect that part of your life later on.

If you don’t want to risk not being able to breastfeed, there are other breast enlargement procedures you can undergo. One of the most popular is to use all natural, non surgical pills, creams or gums that can use herbal ingredients to increase your bust size.
