Problems

When most of us think of regret, we associate it with the purchase of a car that ended up being a lemon or a home that was more trouble than it was worth, but what happens when your regret centers around the cosmetic surgery you have received? There are many different breast augmentation risks that you should consider before you go through with the surgery, but one area that many women don’t think about is simply not liking the final product. Even when the surgery and the recovery go as planned; it isn’t a guarantee that the final result will be something you like. You could end up with breasts that are too large or too small or they could simply feel too fake for you and your partner. Here are a few things you can do if you end up with a breast augmentation job you don’t like.

It is unknown what percentage of women end up with breast enlargement surgery that they feel is subpar, but based on the number of women who end up getting their implants removed within a year, it is a fairly large percentage. Breast augmentation problems can take almost any form. You could end up with implants that are too hard or are slightly misplaced inside the breast. These problems often leave the patient with a slightly misshapen breast or one that feels like there is a rock buried underneath the breast. This “lumpy” breast is a nightmare that can sometimes be corrected by further surgery and the insertion of new, softer implants, but many women simply have the implant removed for good and then seek legal representation against the surgeon who conducted the surgery in the first place.

If you have ended up with breasts that are too small, it is much easier to upgrade to a larger implant than it is to go down. Of course, you will have to go through the surgical process again and the recovery process again and the impact financially may be more than some people can take. Breast augmentation complications like infections or broken implants can also lead to regret. If an infection isn’t caught in time you may have to have part of your breast removed permanently, which is why hospitals are so watchful of your temperature and other vital signs immediately after coming out of surgery.

There are other paths to breast enlargement out there for those that wish to pursue them. A whole line of all natural, herbal breast enhancement products are now available and they only cost a fraction of what surgery does. Talk to your doctor or health professional about other non surgical options to breast enhancement if you want to skip the regret process altogether and get right to the part where you love your body.
