Problems

No matter how much you may want a particular cosmetic procedure to be done, you should never enter into any kind of surgery with rose coloured glasses on. Every kind of surgery carries risks, even if you are having an ingrown toenail taken care of. Breast augmentation surgery is far more complicated than having your foot looked after and while it may turn out to be what’s best for your particular needs, you should be aware of the following three risks that accompany every breast augmentation procedure done in the United States today.

First, no matter how competent your surgeon is, there is always the chance for breast enlargement disappointment. Your doctor may do the best possible job he or she could do and you may wake up after the surgery and realize that this was all a big mistake. Regret is perfectly natural and judging by the number of women who have their implants removed within a few months of getting them put in, it is fairly common, as well. Many surgeons will give you a discount to get your implants removed sooner rather than later but you still have to go through your recovery process for a second time, which can be very trying.

Perhaps the best documented of all breast augmentation risks is that of a botched surgery. A botched augmentation can take many forms. You can have the wrong kind of implants put in, they can be put in the wrong place which leads to a much harder, unnatural looking breast, you can have excess scarring or you can simply have the whole process butchered by a surgeon who likely shouldn’t be practicing medicine. The law system is set up so that patients can get their money back and then some, but you may never regain your peace of mind.

Maybe the most underreported of all breast augmentation complications have to do with infections. You can go from a perfectly normal recovery process to hanging on to your life by a thread thanks to today’s super bugs that are resistant to common antibiotics. If at all possible, get out of the hospital as soon as your surgery is over and recover at home. This puts you in an environment that is far less likely to give you an infection that you can’t defeat.

If these breast augmentation problems sound like more than what you want to deal with, there are all natural alternatives currently in use. You can choose from pills, gums, creams and other solutions that can increase your bust size over a period of six months or longer. Surgery is still the best choice for some, but for others, there are alternatives available.
